Squash

With a busy drop-in Club Night, competitive box leagues, thriving league teams and a full coaching programme for both juniors and adults, from beginner to performance levels, The Northern is the ideal place to enjoy and develop your squash.

Coaching

The Northern offers coaching opportunities for players of all ages and standards. Our coaches are fully qualified with a vast experience and are always happy to answer any questions you have.

Play

We are passionate about squash at The Northern and want to encourage more people, young and old, to play this fantastic sport. We host a Squash Social on Tuesday evenings, which is coach led and open to all.

The Northern fields 12 senior teams and 4 junior teams across all divisions of the major Northwest leagues. Match nights are on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

Friday:  17.00 Little Belters + Family Squash / 17.45 Junior Pay n Play

Saturday: 11.20 UoM Training

Sunday: 16.00 Senior team training (monthly session)

Facilities

A thriving squash club for all abilities

We offer some of the best – and best-maintained – facilities in the region, with six courts, including an exhibition area of two glassback courts with tiered seating. The remaining four hardback courts are linked by a spacious balcony viewing area.
